Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 August 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the website welovetocode.tech (the “Site”) and the live 1:1 online tutoring and consultancy sessions (“Sessions”) offered through it. By booking a Session or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Site or book a Session.

1. Who We Are

WE LOVE COPY LTD (“we“, “us“ or “our“) is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17053828, with our registered office at Suite 17 Dennis House, 4 Hawley Road, Hinckley, Leicestershire, United Kingdom, LE10 0PR.
All correspondence relating to the Site or your Sessions should be sent to [email protected].

2. Definitions

  • “Session” means a single, live, 1:1 video-call booking between you and a tutor, booked in a fixed length of 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Sessions are flexible 1:1 tutoring, mentoring and consultancy consultations: they do not constitute formal courses or training programmes, and carry no fixed curriculum, syllabus, pre-set modules, or guaranteed outcome
  • “Bundle” means a prepaid package of Session credits purchased in advance at a discounted rate.
  • “Credit” means one unit of a Bundle, redeemable against a 60-minute Session. A 120-minute Session uses two Credits.
  • “Platform” means the third-party video-calling service (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, or FaceTime) used to deliver a Session.
  • “Tutor” means the individual delivering a Session, whether engaged by us as an employee, contractor or otherwise.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a booking and enter into a contract with us. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking on your behalf, remain responsible for your use of the Service, and be present or reasonably available during the Session.
By booking a Session, you confirm that the information you provide (including your name, email address and payment details) is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Bookings and Sessions

Sessions are booked via the Site by selecting a length, an available time slot, and completing payment. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email.
Sessions are delivered over the Platform of your and your Tutor's mutual agreement. You are responsible for having a working internet connection, a device compatible with the chosen Platform, and for joining the Session on time. We are not responsible for Session time lost due to your own connectivity or technical issues.
Single-session pricing (correct as at the date of these Terms and subject to change on the Site) is as follows: 30 minutes – £20; 60 minutes – £35; 120 minutes – £65. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).

5. Bundles and Credits

Bundles are prepaid in full at the time of purchase. Credits within a Bundle:
  • expire 90 days from the date of purchase, after which any unused Credits are forfeited without refund, except where required by law;
  • may be redeemed against any available Tutor and time slot, and are not tied to a specific Tutor;
  • are non-transferable and may only be used by the account holder who purchased them, save where a Bundle was purchased on behalf of a minor as set out in section 3.
We may, at our discretion, extend a Credit's expiry date on request, particularly in cases of illness or other exceptional circumstances.

6. Rescheduling and Cancellation by You

You may reschedule a booked Session free of charge provided you give us at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time, by emailing [email protected] or using the rescheduling tool on the Site.
Rescheduling or cancellation requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the Session (or the Credit used to book it) being forfeited, except where the Session could not proceed due to our fault or that of the Tutor.

7. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you ordinarily have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, and to receive a full refund.
However, because Sessions are frequently booked to take place, or begin, within that 14-day period, at the time of booking we will ask you to expressly confirm that you wish the Session to begin before the cancellation period ends, and that you understand you lose your right to cancel a Session once it has been fully performed. Where a Session has only been partially performed at the point you cancel, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the Session already provided.
This section does not affect your other statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of Sessions not performed with reasonable care and skill.

8. Refunds

This section explains how refunds work in practice. It sits alongside, and does not replace, your cancellation rights under sections 6 and 7.
How to request a refund. Email [email protected] with your booking reference and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 working days.
Service not delivered to a reasonable standard. If a Session was not performed with reasonable care and skill, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you the right to ask us to repeat the Session (or provide an equivalent replacement) at no extra cost. If repeat performance is not possible, or does not resolve the issue, you are entitled to an appropriate price reduction or a refund.
Unused Bundle balance. If you have not redeemed any Credits from a Bundle, you may request a refund of the unused balance at any time before it expires under section 5. Once one or more Credits from a Bundle have been redeemed, the remaining balance is non-refundable, except where required by section 7 or by law.
How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, normally within 5 working days of approval.

9. Conduct

When using a Session or the Site, you agree not to:
  • behave abusively, harass, or discriminate against a Tutor or any other person;
  • record a Session without the prior knowledge and consent of all participants;
  • share your account, Bundle or Credits with any other person other than as permitted under section 3;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to request assistance with unlawful, malicious, or academically dishonest activity (for example, completing a graded assessment on your behalf in a manner that breaches your institution's rules).
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, without refund, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

10. Intellectual Property

Any code, notes, or work product created by you, or created collaboratively with your Tutor for the specific purpose of your own project during a Session, belongs to you. We and our Tutors claim no ownership over it.
All other content on the Site, including our branding, text, graphics, and any pre-prepared documentation, notes, or technical materials provided by a Tutor, remains our property or that of our licensors, and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Third-Party Platforms

Sessions are delivered using third-party video-calling Platforms that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the availability, security, functionality, or data-handling practices of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, FaceTime, or any other Platform. Your use of each Platform is subject to that Platform's own terms of use and privacy policy. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and FaceTime are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

12. No Guarantee of Results

Sessions are provided for tutoring, mentoring and consultancy purposes. While we require Tutors to have relevant technical experience, we do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, examination result, qualification, project outcome, or career result from any Session. We do not offer certificates, diplomas or accredited qualifications, and no statement made by a Tutor should be relied upon as such.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

14. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details of what data we collect, why, and your rights in respect of it are set out in our separate Privacy Policy, available on the Site.

15. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a Session or any aspect of our service, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and to resolve them within 14 days.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service or in the law. The current version will always be available on the Site, with the “last updated” date shown above. Changes will not affect Sessions or Bundles already booked or purchased, unless we are required to make the change by law.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, and cancel any outstanding bookings, if you breach these Terms, subject to any refund obligations that apply by law.

18. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Service.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
